WHO WE ARE

Online since 2001, ebookgratis.it has been the first website to collect and organize ebooks in Italian which are legally available for free on the web and it is still the leading Italian resource for free ebooks. 

Initially centered around the MicroSoft Reader .lit format, the website has been thoroughly renovated in the spring of 2010 using Google Custom Search, quickly becoming the leading Italian free ebooks search engine, encompassing most ebook formats including pdf. This renovation got a very positive feedback and we decided to expand the new website to other languages, starting with English and Spanish.

In July 2010 free-books.co was born, replicating ebookgratis.it model for English written ebooks. Our aim is to provide a quick and efficient resource for you to find legally downloadable free e-books in English.

The Spanish version is under construction and it is due to be released shortly.
